Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Redline Design LLC ("Redline", "we", "us") makes Redline AI/SEO Wizard, a subscription service at https://redlineos.design that audits a business's website, Google presence and visibility in AI search engines, and recommends fixes. This policy covers the service, its client portal, and the emails it sends. The agency website at https://www.redlinedesignllc.com has its own policy, which this one incorporates where the two overlap.

2. What we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, business name, website, phone number, and the password you set (stored only as a salted hash).
• Onboarding details: the social profiles, Google Business Profile, service areas, competitors and goals you enter so the audit knows what to check.
• Connected Google data: if you sign in with Google, we store the email address of that account and an encrypted refresh token, and read the Google Analytics 4 property and Search Console site you choose. We only ever read; we never change anything in your Google accounts.
• Usage of the service: audits run, pages crawled, which recommendations were approved, when you signed in, and the metered cost of AI and search checks so we can show your usage.
• Billing: your subscription status and invoices. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Team members: the name and email of anyone you invite.
• Technical: IP address, browser and device type, and server logs kept for security and debugging.

3. How we use it

• To run the audits you ask for and show you the results, trends and recommendations.
• To send the reports and service emails you opt into, and transactional email (sign-in links, invoices, usage notices).
• To bill you through Stripe and to show you how much of your monthly allowance you have used.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and investigate problems.
• To improve the service, using aggregated and de-identified data only.
• We do not sell personal data and we do not use your connected Google data for advertising.

4. Google user data (Limited Use)

Redline AI/SEO Wizard's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically: Google Analytics and Search Console data is used only to display dashboards and reports to you and your team, to inform the recommendations we make for your business, and to produce the monthly report you choose to receive. It is not used to build advertising profiles, is not sold, and is not transferred to third parties except as needed to provide the service (our hosting and database providers) or when required by law.

You can disconnect Google at any time from the portal's Connections page, which revokes our token, or from your Google Account's third-party access settings.

5. AI processing

Audits send your business name, website text, the search phrases and questions you approve, and the answers engines return to AI providers (currently Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Perplexity) and to a search-results provider (SerpApi) to run the checks. We send what the check needs and nothing else; your connected Google data is not sent to AI providers. These providers process the data under their own API terms and do not use it to train models under those terms as published at the time of writing.

6. Who we share it with

• Service providers who host and run the product: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), the AI and search providers in section 5, and Google (for data you connect). Each receives only what its function requires.
• Redline staff, who manage your account from our internal system and act on recommendations you approve.
• Legal authorities, if required by a court order, subpoena or other legal process.
• A successor, if Redline is acquired or merges, under this same policy.

7. Retention

Account and audit data is kept while your subscription is active and for 12 months after it ends, so you can return without losing history. Encrypted Google tokens are deleted when you disconnect or when your account is deleted. Server logs are kept for 90 days. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires (typically 7 years).

To delete your account and data sooner, email redline@redline.design with the subject "Data deletion request" from the email on the account. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

The portal uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and a theme cookie to remember light or dark mode. The public landing page uses the same analytics tools as our agency website. No third-party advertising cookies are set by the product itself.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our hosting providers. Google refresh tokens are additionally encrypted with a key held only by the application. Passwords are hashed. Staff access is role-based and logged. No method is perfect; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you without undue delay.

10. Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete your data, and opt out of marketing email, by using the portal or emailing us. Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, Utah and other states with privacy laws, and of the EU/UK, have the rights those laws grant; we honor them for everyone. We do not discriminate for exercising them.

11. Children

The service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes

We will post changes here with a new effective date and email account owners about material changes. Continued use after that is acceptance.
